Information message about the tangible earthquake in the Krasnodar region, October 30, 2016 |
| The tangible earthquake M=4.9 has occurred on October 30, 2016 at 05:27 GMT (08:27 Moscow time) in the Krasnodar region. |
| Parameters of the earthquake
have been determined in the Alert Service (AS) of Information
Processing Center (IPC) of Geophysical Survey of RAS in Obninsk with station data
obtained from digital and analog seismic stations of Russia, countries of CIS
and from abroad. Alert message on this earthquake has been delivered in 9 min after
registration to the Ministry of Emergency of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM). |
| Preliminary processing has been done with data from 18 stations, accurate processing - with data 43 stations. |
| Fig. 1 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Lazarevskoye(∆ 0.5º), Guzeripl (∆ 0.5º), Sochi (∆ 0.8º), Vesyoloye (∆ 1º), Arkhyz (∆ 1.5º). Fig. 2 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Anapa (∆ 1.6º), Kislovodsk (∆ 2.3º), Shidzhatmaz (∆ 2.3º), Khabaz (∆ 2.5º), Neytrino (∆ 2.5º). |

| Fig. 3 presents with red star the epicenter of this earthquake, its origin was located on the territory of Krasnodar region at the depth of 10 km, 10 km W of Neftegorsk, 16 km S-W of Apsheronsk, 50 km N-E of Tuapse and 85 km N-N-W of Sochi. |

| According to GS RAS earthquake was felt in Neftegorsk with intensity 4 MSK, in Tuapse, Apsheronsk with intensity 3-4 MSK, in Lazarevskoye with intensity 2-3 MSK, in Stavropol and Sochi with intensity 2 MSK.
