    Macroseismic manifestations
According to Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan National Data Center this earthquake was felt in Nura, Bar-Dobo with intensity 6, in Sary-Tash, Sary-Mogol, Kara Kindik with intensity 5, in the Osh region with intensity 4-5, in Batken region with intensity 3-4, in Taraz, Shymkent with intensity 2-3 in Almaty with intensity 2 MSK.
    Historical records
The epicenter was located 100 km S-S-W of the epicenter of tangible earthquake of November 17, 2015 М=5.5 and 137 km N-E of the epicenter of tangible earthquake of December 7, 2015 М=7.5 .
Focal mechanism and seismic moment of the earthquake
Focal mechanism solution of the origin was obtained in IPC GS RAS with signs of initial arrivals of P waves at 74 stations, including 59 stations which registered compression waves (plus signs), and 15 stations which registered tensile waves (minus signs). These stations are located in the interval of epicentral distances 1–99º and dispersed uniformly along the azimuth. Focal mechanism in stereographic projection at lower hemisphere is shown in Fig. 4, elements of this mechanism are presented in Table 2. Fig. 5, 6 and table 2 present focal mechanism solutions obtained in USGS NEIC with Mww technique and in Quick CMT Catalog Center, USA with CMT technique. Elements of these solutions are given in table 2. Solutions obtained in the different centers are close. This earthquake has occurred under prevailing compression stress oriented north-west (AZ=305-337º). Nodal planes decline to the horizon at nearly the same angles (DP=35º-56º). In all solutions NP1 planes strikes SW-W (STK=200-273º), NP2 strikes N-E (STK=40º-57º). The type of motion along both planes – reverse fault (with slip component). Seismic moment obtained in IPC GS RAS with P wave spectra at station «Obninsk» (∆29.05º) Мо=6.8*10**18 N*m, Mw=6.5; according to USGS NEIC – Mo=4.55*10**18 N*m, Mw=6.4, according to Quick CMT – Mo=4.98*10**18 N*m, Mw=6.4.
