The Editorial Board of the scientific publication "Russian Seismological Journal" decided to make volume 4 number 3 of the journal thematic. 

   Issue topic: "Equipment for seismic observations"

   The main directions of the planned publications:

   Description and experience of using new equipment models.

1. Modernization of old instruments for seismic observations.
2. Comparison of real and nominal characteristics of devices.
3. We invite you and your colleagues, together with leading seismologists, to take part in the formation of this issue. We expect that as a result, the world scientific seismological community will receive a valuable cross-section of modern ideas about the problems of seismic equipment.

   The Russian Seismological Journal is a periodical peer–reviewed scientific publication aimed at free dissemination of information about new scientific results, discussion of topical issues of seismology and related disciplines.

   The Russian Seismological Journal provides direct open access to its content to increase global knowledge sharing.

   Publication in the journal is FREE.

   We invite you to submit an article that has not yet been published to the scientific publication "Russian Seismological Journal".

The deadline for submitting an article to a thematic issue is August 1, 2022.
